New Zealand go to Tea at 173 for two, still trailing England by 216 runs at Tea after openers Martin Guptill and Tom Latham were dismissed for 70 and 59 respectively. New Zealand started off extremely well but England bowlers have made a comeback after they got a couple of quick wickets right at the end of the session. Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor will now look to build on the start that was given by the openers early on. Live Cricket Score England vs New Zealand 2015, 1st Test at Lord’s, Day 2

Earlier in the day England were bowled out for 389, adding just 35 runs to their overnight score. Moeen Ali scored a vital half-century to ensure that England got close to the 400-run mark. New Zealand began their innings full of confidence. But England were very poor in their approach. First, Guptill was dismissed off a no ball. Soon after that Latham was given a life after Ian Bell dropped a simple catch in the slips. Both batsmen went on to get decent scores, but those chances could harm England as the days progress. New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum had won the toss on Day One and elected to field first. Mark Woods is making his Test debut for England and Henry is making his debut for New Zealand as well. New Zealand will be happy would have been happy with the start, but would feel that they let England get too many runs in the end.
