Azhar Ali has held fort for Pakistan with a crucial hundred against Zimbabwe in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Lahore. His innings may ultimately prove the difference between win and loss for the home side as the other batsmen have got starts but failed to convert them. He is now joined by Haris Sohail at the other end, who is playing with positive intent. Earlier, Zimbabwe posted 268 for seven in their 50 overs on the back of big scores from Chibhabha (99) and Sikandar Raza (100*). Yasir Shah was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as he took two crucial wickets and conceded just 40 runs in his 10 overs. Zimbabwe’s bowling has been ordinary in the series and they’ll need to step up in this match.
