Marcus Stoinis, the Victoria Bushrangers all-rounder has achieved a rare feat in cricket on Wednesday. He hit six sixes in an over during a Australian domestic match in Brisbane. He was representing the National Performance Squad (NPS) in a 50-over match against the National Indigenous Squad (NIS) at Allan Border Field.
It was the part-time medium-pacer Brendan Smith who was the unlucky bowler. In the 37th over of the NPS innings, Stonis took the charge on him and scored 37 runs out of this over. The first ball from Smith was a wide before Stoinis smacked six back to back sixes at the AB Field. The ground is which is often used for first-class cricket and its of decent size. Stoinis finished with a score of 121 from 73 balls.
