Australia coach Darren Lehmann is in high spirits after his team’s dominant performance at Lord’s in the second Test of the Ashes 2015. “Since the great result at Lord’s, we’ve had a terrific week with some of our squad staying in London with their families while a bulk of the touring party travelled to Derby for our three-day tour game.” This reflects his happiness seeing Australia’s comeback. Shaun Marsh and Peter Siddle have performed very well for the Aussies. He was also exuberant to see David Warner score his first hundred.He was also high praise for Mitch Marsh saying “Having bowled a few balls in excess of 140kph, Mitch Marsh keeps trying to get a spot down the back by claiming he’s now a genuine fast bowler.He was concerned about Chris Rogers health and well-being. Lehmann then delved into the past to the test match of 2005 where the English won by a margin of only two runs. He was slightly sad because of it. He was working as a television commentator that time and he told that ‘Kaspa’ as he fondly calls Michael Kasprovicz was wrongly given out in that match. It was the closest ashes test ever. And he reckons that if the umpires knew the laws of the game he would have been the hero of one of Australia’s greatest Test wins ever!
