News is doing rounds that after the terrible loss in Ashes 2015 Australia contemplated the need to have a genuine all-rounder in the side even if he is not in his prime touch. Also, Watson has a better record in ODIs and is known to hit towering sixes in the limited overs format along with a healthy economy rate of 4.95 which is pretty decent considering today’s power hitting, better bats and rules which are getting more and more tuned towards helping the batsmen in ODIs. Australia will face England in the first one-day international on Thursday and will play the lone-T20 on Monday. Of 48 T20Is that Watson has featured in, he has a healthy strike rate of 143.96 which includes 10 fifties. He has also taken 39 wickets in T20Is and he takes a wicket every 19th ball he bowls.
