Michael Clarke shared a picture on social media with the “Milo” kids after he had spent a quality time with them on Wednesday. “Had a ball today with the Milo kids. Love seeing so many boys and girls playing our great game,” the former Australian cricketer said. Nestle Milo and cricket go hand in hand as their connection go back to 1992 when they had established a partnership with Cricket Australia and the bond is still strong and running. The company came up with their ambassador team only in 2013, while Clarke was the first cricketer to represent them; upcoming cricket star Holly Ferling has joined him now. Milo is a chocolate and malt powder that is mixed with hot or cold water or milk to produce a beverage popular in many parts of the world. Produced by Nestlé, Milo was originally developed by Thomas Mayne in Sydney, Australia in 1934 during the depression as a direct response to the fact that children were not receiving enough nutrients from their daily diet. Australia’s upcoming tour of Bangladesh will be their first assignment without the likes of Clarke, Chris Rogers, Shane Watson, Ryan Harris and Brad Haddin in the whites. While, the young team gears up for the sub-continent test, Clarke has admitted of keeping himself away from the game at the moment. According to Cricket Australia, he said, “I feel like I’m really happy with the time I’ve walked away from the game and I’m really grateful for the time I’ve had in the game. But right now some time away from it will do me the world of good and then I’ll wait and see. “

He further added,” Cricket’s in my blood, always has been. I’m pretty sure I’ll definitely get my fix from being a part of my academy and watching boys and girls grow there. I won’t be watching the Bangladesh series — it’s extremely unlikely I’ll be on the couch. It’s my personality to stay busy and keep doing things and I’m excited about what lies ahead and some business adventures and opportunities I’ve got.”
