African minnows Zimbabwe take on Asian minnows Afghanistan in the first of the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Friday. Zimbabwe have had so far a decent outing in the last series against Ireland last week, as they tamed them with a 2-1 series win in the three games and would surely be aiming to continue the good run as they face another minnow nation. While Afghanistan, who had a tough outing in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup would look to turn things around by starting afresh and making the Zimbabwean relaise that they are a force to reckon with. Zimbabwe have won 16 out of their 58 matches on this ground the last of which incidentally came against Afghanistan in July 2014, the last time Afghanistan toured the African nation.
