Rajkot: After an enthralling win in the 2nd ODI against South Africa at Indore, Team India looked to take some time off and relax on their visit to Rajkot where the 3rd ODI against South Africa is to be played. Skipping the hotel dinner Team India headed to Pujara Residence for a nice meal which was prepared for only them. Cheteshwar Pujara who is part of the Test set up, called upon his teammates over to his home for a warm dinner. Understanding that Team India is most of the time away from home, it seemed a welcome homecoming for the players.
A photo was shared by BCCI’s official Twitter handle shows Pujara posing with members of Team India. Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are seen standing next to Pujara while Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav, Amit Mishra and Rohit Sharma were also a part of the entourage. Team India is in Rajkot to play the 3rd ODI against South Africa on 18 October which is a day -night affair. The Indian team beat South Africa by 22 runs in the 2nd ODI at Indore, after skipper MS Dhoni helped India put on a fighting total of 247. The first ODI was won by South Africa at Kanpur, which was a close finish as the visitors won only by a margin of 5 runs.
