England finished Day Four at 569 for 8 in the first Test against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi. England skipper Alastair Cook scored a monumental 263, which included 18 boundaries to take his side to safety. England have established a 46-run lead in the process as well. Ian Bell, Joe Root and Ben Stokes too hit half-centuries to help their team’s cause. Pakistan had earlier declared at 523 for 8 with Shoaib Malik scoring 245 on his return to Test cricket after a gap of five years. He was well supported by Asad Shafiq, who scored 107.
