Johannesburg: South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir has welcomed the pressure of bowling in Indian conditions, saying that he will give hundred percent in the remaining Tests of the four-match series against the hosts. Speaking about his strategy, Tahir revealed that he tried to cope up with pressure in order to maximise his contribution towards his side, Sport24 reported. The 36-year-old said that pressure is a part of international cricket and it had helped him to play well in the matches. Tahir insisted that no matter which format he is playing, be it T20s, ODIs or Test matches, he has always tried to give his best for the country. SCORECARD: India vs South Africa 2015 1st Test at Mohali

Tahir grabbed six wickets for 71 runs overall in South Africa’s huge 108-run defeat in the first Test in Mohali. With the defeat, the visitors are currently trailing 0-1 in the series against India. The two sides will play their second Test from November 14 in Bangalore. Meanwhile, the Proteas have a good news as JP Duminy is set to return for the second Test.  In his absence of  Duminy  the South African team, had not only lost an experienced batsman in the middle, but also a spinner, who could turn the game in favour of South Africa at Mohali.

Cricket South Africa team manager Mohammed Moosajee on Saturday was quoted in a press release that, “Duminy had the stitches removed from this right hand laceration two days ago. He will have a net session in the next couple of days and should be available for selection for the second Test match in Bengaluru.”  Visitors also wish to see fast bowler Morne Morkel to return for the second Test. Dale Steyn would be also decided on, but  only after being assessed fit, two days before the Bangalore Test. Steyn had suffered a groin injury and did not play for the India’s second innings.
