It was a tremendous performance by the Goa batsmen as their top three men notched up big scores. Swapnil Asnodkar was the star of the innings as he slammed a brilliant double century, scoring 232 off 360 balls with the help of 28 boundaries and three sixes.
Amogh Desai faced 228 balls and struck 13 boundaries to score 106 runs, and Sagun Kamat scored 105 off 292 balls with the help of 11 boundaries and a six. Darshan Misal was unfortunate to have missed out on a half-century, as he fell for 41. 3
Jammu and Kashmir’s star all-rounder Parvez Rasool was the pick among the bowlers as he returned with the figures of 52-8-169-4. Umar Nazir was the only other bowler to take a solitary wicket in the innings.
Ian Dev Singh and Pranav Gupta were at the crease for Jammu and Kashmir, batting on 25 and 13 respectively. Jammu and Kashmir trail by a further 509 runs.
