India and South Africa face off on the third day of the ongoing fourth and final Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday. South Africa were bowled out for a meagre 121 in response to India’s first innings score of 334, with Ravindra Jadeja once again being the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking five wickets while giving away a miserly 30 runs in 12 overs. It was yet another batting collapse by the visitors, with One-Day International (ODI) skipper AB de Villiers (42 off 78 balls) yet again top-scoring for his side without receiving much support at the other end. Dean Elgar and Temba Bavuma shared a 36-run opening stand, before the former became the first South African batsman to be dismissed in the ongoing match. Bavuma, brought in as the replacement for an underperforming Stiaan van Zyl in the opener’s slot, was next to depart, getting bowled and becoming Jadeja’s first victim of the day. De Villiers hit five boundaries during his patient innings, during which he watched his team-mates falling victim to quality spin on a turning track for the fourth time in the ongoing series. Skipper Hashim Amla soon followed suit  for a painful 33-ball 3 and then Faf du Plessis went for a duck after he attempted a poor shot. JP Duminy was cleaned up by Yadav with a peach of a delivery. Duminy therefore became Umesh’s 50th scalp in Tests.
