As ICC Under-19 World Cup 2016 begins on Wednesday and India Under-19 a full member plays against Ireland Under-19 on Thursday, India can very well be expected to win this tournament. Kohli scored an excellent unbeaten 90 off 55 balls, thereby reaching his highest-ever score in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in the first match between India and Australia at Adelaide on Wednesday. Kohli, whose previous highest T20I score was 78 not out (scored against Pakistan in 2012), is currently India’s highest scorer in T20Is. Kohli came in to bat at No. 3 at the fall of Rohit Sharma’s wicket, and put on a century partnership with Suresh Raina. India won f1st T20I against Australia on Tuesday at Adelaide Oval. The 2016 edition of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup will be held in Bangladesh from 27 January to 14 February. During the 20-day
tournament, 48 matches will be played across eight venues. It has been a launching pad for emerging players like Sanath Jayasuriya, Inzamam ul-Haq, Graeme Smith, Tatenda Taibu, Nasser Hussain, Jimmy Adams, Brian Lara, Michael Clarke, Alastair Cook, Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Mitchell Marsh and most recently Kagiso Rabada.
