Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has announced Bat Bouncy Ball Challenge, in association with Loop, which is Caribbean’s No.1 news app and online partners of CPL. The challenge is to edge the ball of the edge of the cricket bat as many times as you can. Legends like Brian Lara, Chris Gayle, Desmond Haynes, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy have been involved so far. South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis is placed three at 24, ahead of him are Cameron Delport with 31 and leading the pack is Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal.  Fans around the world are open to enter the challenge and record their attempts and submit on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #InTheLoop. CPL partner Loop is supporting the Challenge, and will make a charitable donation based on a multiplier of the record set by a CPL player, meaning the higher the score, the larger the donation to a good cause  promoting youth cricket in the Caribbean. Damien O’Donohoe, CEO, Hero CPL, said: “It’s not often you get the chance to out-hit Chris Gayle or Darren Sammy, but you could do just that with this challenge.  It’s a bit of fun for finals week and we’re looking forward to our fans around the world getting involved.” PHOTO: Chris Gayle posts selfie to celebrate 500 posts on Instagram

CPL 2015 is a major hit in the Caribbean with Final set to be played between Barbados Tridents, who will take on the winner of the match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel.
